HONORS THESIS.
“From Attraction to Algorithm: The Evolution of Attentional Organization”
Drawing on psychology, film theory, early cinema, and digital platform studies, my undergraduate thesis traces a historical shift from controlled, collective spectatorship in movie theaters to personalized, algorithmic feeds that mediate our everyday lives. Instead of treating attention as something eroded by the digital age, this project examines how media systems increasingly organize and direct our attention.
This project is currently under consideration for publication and is therefore not yet available online.
